Making My Way!

    Hi everyone! Lately things have not been working on this blog. I am very sorry for all this. I've been getting complaints that the comments aren't working, the reactions aren't working, etc. I apologize for that and I am trying my best to fix it! It seems to be more complicated than what I thought but I have been asking some very excellent computer people to help me out. I'll try to fix it ASAP!!!!
    So lately, Tuesdays ( my acting day with my two acting classes ), have been going exquisite!! The acting classes are so much fun!!! I met up with my mananger a few weeks ago and suggest a few people who could do my new headshots ( photographers ) who are super great. So a week later, I got my first professional photoshoot! Yay! It was awesome and so much fun! The photographer even said that Selena Gomez was trying to get a photoshoot in with him and that if she does, he will call me down to meet her!! ( I told him that I love Selena Gomez.)
    So now I am just waiting for my manager to call me after she picks out the headshots she likes from the photoshoot to tell me that I am ready to go out on interviews for agents. In the meantime, I've been trying to learn a Taylor Swift song on my guitar that I could do for some of my auditions and interviews. I'm learning the song Mean. It's a fabulous song and I love it! I'm not the best guitarist, just beginner, but I think I'm doing great on the song!!!
    Halloween is coming up! So I might just do a little fun off acting topic post just for Halloween. And....I just may show you what I am going to be for Halloween. And...wait for it...I MIGHT, and I mean might, not for sure, suggusting it... I might post some pics of me and my friends trick or treating, haha!
    Ok well thank you so much for keep coming back to my blog!! I am very sorry for all the weird stuff that is happening on this blog! But I think the poll is working fine....so....take the poll! Wowie!

    Hey everyone, so sorry I have not been posting as much as I usually have been. Lately, my schedule has gotten busier, which meant that every day of the week was sort of like this: wake up at 8, get two hours of schoolwork done, 15 minutes to get ready, leave the house, drive, do my things, come back home......8:30pm. It's litterally been like that every week day! Leave at 11am get back 8pm. Been crazy! But luckily it is the sweet, calm, weekend!! Lots of news for me to tell!!
    I have gotten a mananger!!! Yay!! So now she has been  helping with my resume, my headshots, and then next week she's probably going to get me some interviews with some agents. CAN'T WAIT! So yes, lots been happening. Haven't been home most of the day, tiring. But fun!

What happened about the commercial lesson?

   Did you read the title and ask think the same thing? WELL.... here is the information! Oh before I start... I've been saying its a class. It's actually private lessons. He only does private lessons. Heh, sorry! My bad. But lets get back to the info...
    He is super nice! I found out he's worked with lots of people who have been to my auditions and he once worked with Dylan and Cole Sprouse! But I thought I did good and I think he thought so too! He says I'm reading for commercial auditions. I am so excited!! It has been some great experiences working with all these people. I have been really ( and I mean really ) been learning tons of useful stuff. They have all taught be about what to do in auditions and what the directors will be looking for! I am super glad I have been doing all these things!

Info About the Commercial Acting Classes!

    Ok, so, yesterday the commercial guy called and he says we can do it tomorrow (today). So today I am going to commercial acting class!!! Then, after, I head to my other acting class. Yay!
    And... the exciting news about my vocal coach, Michael Seven, it's his birthday today! Woo! So today he is going to spend the whole day with us! Let's wish him the best birthday ever! WoooooooooooOOooooOOO! Happy Birthday Michael Seven!

More Stuff Added on to My Busy Schedule!

    Hi! So I might be taking comercial acting classes ( private lessons ) with this really awesome acting guy who has done tons of commercials and lots of other things. It will be before and on the same day of my acting classes. So Tuesdays I'll have Commercial Acting and  the regular Acting Classes. I'm on a roll! Haha. So I just wanted to give you some deets about that. We don't know when I will start these classes. It could be this week or next month for all I know! But I will absolutely tell you more details when I know more myself. Plus....an upcoming post of something completely awesome about my vocal coach!! STAY TUNED........

Oklahoma Cast List Results! + more!

    Hey everybody! So a few days ago the cast list for Oklahoma was posted on the theatre's website. Sorry I couldn't write a post a few days ago. It's been a very hectic week. But I finally have some time tonight!
    It seems that the cast list ( from who I know who was casted ) was mostly a few years older than me. Like a year or two. I guess they just wanted some people a little bit older for this cast. But thats ok! Plenty more auditions! Yay!
    So a few dayd ago I started my Vocal Technique class. Sadly it was from 7:00pm to 10:00pm at NIGHT for three hours! On a school night too. But I have learned alot of important and interesting stuff that will help me in this career! It certainly wasn't the most comforting class that first time. Of course I was the youngest there. And since it was my first time, I was a little nervous, I can admit. Yes, I admit, I get a little nervous sometimes! Doesn't everyone? Haha. But I know next time there is nothing to be worried about! All the people there are really nice and you just need to learn to be less nervous and more focusing on learning about what the teacher is teaching you. But I am absolutely glad I went!

Oklahoma Results!

    The audtion was really fun! I saw tons of people I know from previous plays and it was nice seeing them! I sang The Hills Are Alive ( AKA The Sound of Music ) from the Sound Of Music. I thought I did good! It was a little hard with the pianist we had. I didn't get the pianist's tempo at first but then I caught along. Then we did dance part of the audition. They taught us part of a dance from the play and it was super fun!!! After dance, they gave us sides to read from the Oklahoma play script. I read for Laurey ( the lead girl ) and was paired up with another girl who seemed a little older than me to read Aunt Eller. They gave scenes for all the kids there at that specific audition time ( about 25 ) for parts to read. They give you seven minutes to step out the audition room to practice with your partner. Then they had one pair by one pair come up at a time to read. It was fun! Then, the audition was finished.
    A few hours later they posted the callback list on their theatre's website. Sadly, me and my two friends that I knew the best there didn't get a callback. But that's ok! If you don't get a callback that doesn't mean you didn't get in. But yea, oh well! I still have tons more auditions coming up like Beauty and the Beast and The Neverending Story! That just means more oppotunites!! I can't wait for my next audition and I hope to be cast in one of the plays.

Today is the Big Day!!

    So today is the big day! My audition is at 3:30pm and I am excited!! I found out that my bff is going to the audition too! So we will be seeing each other :). I hope today goes well and I hope everything will be alright!! Wish me to break a leg! ( not literally "break a leg".....heh :P ) And wish my other friend luck as well!

    Hi everyone! As you all should know Jessica Pepper, the one from Dear Edwina and High School Musical, well, she is turing the big and wonderous 13 this Saturday!! Wish her a happy b-day!!! Excited For This Month!

    Hi everyone! I am soooo excited for this month! I am taking acting classes from a top coach, I started hip-hop ( great for theatre ), guitar lessons are coming along sweetly, and I am going to take Vocal Technique classes starting next week!!!! And I have more then three, and I mean that, more than three auditions coming up this year!!! I really hope to be cast in one of them because it will be tons of fun and more great experiences!! Fun, fun, fun!!
    I am actually quite excited for my audition! I might see my other friends from my other plays! And I've been working really hard for this audition so I am really excited to just perform what I've been working so hard on whether I get casted or not. My audition is Sunday. Wish me to Break A Leg!!! ( not literally, please :o )

Hi everyone! I have been song writing lately and I would like to give you somewhat of an idea of what they are gonna be. He is the lead singer!!! He is Michael Seven, my awesome vocal coach!!! He learned his singing at Carnegie Hall in New York by some of the best coaches ever! He is an awesome vocal coach!

Auditions Coming Up Soon!!

Hi everyone who likes reading this :).  I have done some research online about some local theatres around my area.  There are three upcoming auditions at the place where I did Captain Bree and My Son Pinocchio.  The three next auditions are, Oklahoma, Beauty and the Beast, and The Neverending Story. They are doing these three shows for young artists ( kind of like a jr. for kids my age and stuff like that :D ).  So luckily, I can try to go out for some of the leads.  I am hoping to at least get in one of them, if it doesn't work out, well, these things happen.  I am super excited because I would really want to be in another play after doing HSM.  Theatre is such a blast so it makes me want to do more every chance I get!!!!

Hi! You know I am an actress, singer, and dancer, well my bff is too! Her name is Kylie, she is super awesome!!!  She is super incredible! I met her during the Stuart Little play!  She is an amazing actress, a great singer, and a rocking acoustic guitarist, and a super dancer, plus a phenomenal friend!!! I just wanted to give a shoutout to my theatre buddy and awesome friend!

My New Blog, about what I want to do in life!

Hi everyone!! I am Jessica Michelle Castello! This blog is specifically made for me sharing you about my career. What I want to do is be an actress, singer, and dancer one day and my goal is is to be on Broadway one day! I just started acting in 2009, where I did my first play Dear Edwina Jr. during a summer camp! And I played Cordellia ( which was a pretty good part for my first play ). I did the camp with my AWESOME friend Jessica Pepper. Her last name isn't pepper, its just that since we have the same name, we both have a nickname! Jessica Pepper, ( her ) and Jessica Salt ( me ). I joined the theatre camp she was doing so that I would have a friend to do it with! She was great helping me through my first play!
    Then I did a theatre camp the next year in 2010, but at a different theatre group sadly without Jessica P. It was called My Son Pinocchio. I played one of Stromboli's Marionette! It was a fun part playing as a doll! Haha.
After that during the same year, I auditioned for a real play. One that wasn't a camp, one that I had to audition for. It's called Stuart Little. It was based off of the book so it was a little different then the movies. I actually got a featured part! Her name was Harriet Ames. She went on a date with Stuart.
    Then, in 2011 I auditioned for another real play called Captain Bree Scourge of the Sea. I got a part there too! I got Pirate Patty! An Irish girl who saves a fellow countryman. Then, the most recent one, that I just finished which was also in 2011, was another summer theatre camp. This camp did High School Musical. Jessica P. joined me in that one! I got Sharpay! It was my first lead part. It was a lot of hard work, but it was so much fun! Jessica P. got Gabriella! Which was perfect!
    So that's where I am at. Now, you are probably getting tired reading all this. So let me make this last part short. I hope you continue to read about my adventures that will take me to where I want to be in life. The blog title, Triple Threat, is about my acting, singing, and dancing adventures.
